Hey guys, so I picked up my copy from eb today, broke street release, raced home, stuck it in the computer. Finished install... Recieved Windows Installer error 1722, installation failed. Has anybody else encountered this problem/found a working sollution? Local tech support knew jack-all. Mind you SECUrom did run a release date scan at the end of the installation so that might be it, will have to wait till midnight.

Nu, sorry I dunno. I just downloaded mine from steam and it worked. I use Windows XP, do you use Vista or Windows 7 perhaps?

Thats what I was going to say. Maybe see if you can get ahold of someone from gearbox. Windows 7 is relatively new so it might not have been coded for it, if anyone could tell ya how to fix it they can. If ya find any solution be sure to post it here or on my compendium http://www.borderlan...s-and-glitches/ so others can find out too. :D

By the way just found this on the gearbox forums.

http://gbxforums.gea...ead.php?t=78731

That has some windows 7 fixes that might help.
