How do you use the shoutbox?

How do you use the shoutbox? i just signed up, and cant seem to figure it out. can anyone help?

There's a box next to it with the words Shout Clear and Refresh underneath it. You write there and click shout.

To use the Shoutbox, you need a minimum of 5 posts. ^_^
