Even if this game is half of what I am hoping it to be (based on what Ive seen) it should be a blast, Ive been in the mood for a lootfest for a while, and I am just counting down the days (youtube and gaming sites are not making this easier!) DID NOT know it had splitscreen, my fiance and I LOVE split screen co-op!

Thanks for this FAQ, I am even more excited. Could somebody answer my questions?

- will there be some sort of save option in multiplayer (or are locations visited before "save" completely regenerated after load)?
- is the game location-cell based or is it one opened world?
- is there any need to be online when playing LAN multiplayer?

Not yet. But a LOT of players in the Borderlands community are requesting it for the first DLC. There was in Diablo. Why not here?
