i wasn't looking at my skill tree when i did this but i believe this is how mine is set up and i'm pretty much a one man army. my bird dominates everything and one the snipers i use right now put out 12995 critical hit damage on the destroyer in playthrough 2. the sniper i use the most hold 15 rounds in the clip and i can shoot it probaly at a 3 or higher for weapon speed. it's a 2.7 and then add all my fire rate upgrades and 26 sniper proficiency. i was doing the 12995 critical hit damage with my sniper class mod. but i usually run around with scavenger mod on unless i need to turn survivor on to get back health. if i run and gun i'll die a few times. but if i play smart i can kill everyone in old haven by myself. (everyone there is lvl48 or higher for me) the hunter's class mod is probably the best for playing by yourself. just because you can set your bird to heal you and mine slows enemy's down so much i can dodge bullets when i need my health and shield to regenerate. but as a hunter my favorite character to play with is a soldier and only because it extened's my sniper clip on my main one to 18 and i'll never run out of ammo.

best proficiency in weapons as of now 19 pistol 23 smg and 26 sniper. i think i'm also in the teens with my combat rifle and around 11 with my rocket launcher. oh and in my opinion explosion is the best artifact to attach to your bloodwing. it will hurt everything and not be canceled out by an enemy being corrosive or fire or shock.. except guardian's set your bloodwing to shock and it will take out the flying ones in 2 hits. well it should if you are set up like my hunter :)

sounds pretty solid, its the sniper build as opposed to the one i posted, do the benefits on the sniper out weigh benefits gained from other guns? any feedback on my post for mordecai?

here i thought of using him differently, seeing as some pistols come with scopes they can potentially double as ranged snipers, although not as powerful. bloodwing here is very powerful for support. now i also thought to stay away from pistol only tiers, so any buffs work for any gun, feel free to use whatever. right now as the build is, bloodwing's cooldown is only 13 seconds, hitting up to 6 targets, and healing the user for 35% per hit. thats pretty useful. 2nd off your gun will rely on your accuracy, head shots are critical so they gain the +30% dmg. kill one enemy and trigger gunslinger's 4th tier, your melee is a good way to kill upclose, and killing will trigger health regen also. in theory its pretty well rounded with no favorite for gun type.

okay so alot of the pistols with scopes aren't good at all. some are but most are not. and then alot that have scopes have terrible accuaracy. with how my sniper side is set up and with my proficiency i can fire my sniper at a weapon speed of atleast a 3. and reload time is ridiculously fast. i have my bird set to heal me but not all the way to 35% because with a survivor class and decent weapons it's not very neccesary also. i have it to where i can shoot enemies with my sniper and it will have my bird ready to go back out again before it has even finished attacking 6 enemies. and when you are playing alone your sniper is your best friend. you can pick off people that way you dont get surrounded. that's my take on it all. the only time i ever get downed is if i decide to run and gun. but if i play it smart and sit back and pick people off i might as well be the finger of god (challenge in the game).

Hello. When i am entering Phasewalking (i got with corrode effect lv2 ) and hitting monster i think i do normal dmg by meele (not 640% like in skill). Why ?
Here is my skilltree: http://www.borderlan...000000000505054

Do skill Dramatic Entrance work with Phasewalk mod ? (fire or electric)

my friend and i have been playin on and off for a couple weeks i just reached lvl 50 as brick and i think hes at lvl 48 with roland. his soldier tree is more towards healing and damage and it seems to work well playing together. my beserk skill raises my health and he has the skill point for when he shoots me my health goes up also that the turrets emits health when standing near it. then i use the centurion or titan class mod and that seems to help the both of us with +X% health. we rarely buy the med kits only when dealing with the bosses. except i went on the beat the second playthrough without him and now i have nothing to do but start over as another class.
this game is like halo, half-life, and WoW all in one.

So what do you guys think?

It a greedy made class I know...no support for others. But I dont want to make a guy to buff team mates and then I go on single player missions and he cant stand alone.

My thoughts are that the Medic skills dont seem to do much. Its only like 5 % stuff. And I dont think players of other classes will appreciate the solders Buff/helping skills. Snipers will sit back, Siran will be all over the place, and Bricks will be smashing forward.

I think the Solder class will only really shine with other Solder classes as for teamwork. I can see 4 well made and balenced Solder classes able to take and hold ground and lay some pretty nasty seige's on places.

The Scorpio turret Im unsure of. Seems like you can make it a monster if you put full points into it. Seeing the start it only lasts 30 seconds. But I want to be the one doing the action. I just dont want to run in a place drop the Scorpio run out .....then come back in and pick up whats after the mess

Awesome site!~

I've not begun to play but taking a look at the classes etc, this really has made me want to go as a Siren. No doubt about that. Brilliant post thanks.

I just wanted to add my two cents. I am a level 50 soldier(of course) and I spent most of my skill points on the turret. If it has to do with the turret I have 5 skill points on it. I also put a couple on the healing skill for shooting allies to heal them. After that I use a great heavy gunner class mod that practically doubles my clip size and fire rate. This basically lets me throw a turret every 15 - 30 seconds and decimate all opposition. And the greatest part about the skill tree is that you can respec any time you want using the new you station. So just experiment because some people may play different than you do. Hope this was helpful.:transformer:

Interesting tree Cobra. I discussed the hunter in one of the other threads and have recently used him. I have maxed out his sniper tree to trespass (all 5 points) and his gunslinger tree to Riotous Remedy as I prefer the shooter based damage. The Trespass skill is insane and I would have battled without it. Two questions if you wouldn't mind. How does this set up work in terms of downing enemies and how do you utilise the hunter? Do you get in close or do you use the bloodwing for distance?

not at all. i never use my turret and i have most things for the middle and left side almost none in the healing part. i dont think any of the healing things are any good but thats just my opinion so if you think it is good then fine. i prefer support gunner class modss. plus twenty percent ammo regeneration is the shit. it lso ups some of my skills by three or four points each. i never run out of ammo its awsome

I have just finished my Berserker. I have the berserker mod with a +4 Endless Rage with a + 3 Heavy Handed with one or two others. I have set up his brawler and tank tree's to the max focusing on Brawler and Endless Rage.

This spec is very fun and to be able to hammer away with explosvie fists for minutes on end is fun to say the least. You literally scream from one end of Skag Gully to the other.

I have to disagree. Trespass is one of the most important skills for the Hunter. My ideal chart looks like this:
