Rubbish, I've found one pearl from farming Crawmerax far too many times, and it wasn't worth picking up. I found 6 or 7 in the armoury not long after the DLC was released, 2 or 3 in Circle Of Duty, and one yesterday in a weapon crate in Roads End.

Talking of which, I've not been on Borderlands for a while, I was just killing Lance for the hell of it, and dropped to the shack on the side of the cliff near the entrance to Roads End, and found a Pearl. A Hunters Jackal, not great, but it chomps through the Lance

My gf's son has only recently got the Knoxx DLC, I run through it with him, found another Hunters Jackal, and that was his first time in the armoury.

I will be happy to dupe the pearlesence weapons I have. My 360 gamertag is frykill. I will be on at 4 cst today. Send me a friend request and we will go from there. I also figured out that if you go up against crawermax with 4 players all having rare find mods crawermax dumps pearlescents a lot more often. You might need to do a little house cleaning after 5 or 6 times because the weapons really pile up on you quick.

i wonder if finding pearls correlates with the amount of time you play borderlands? Kinda like a reward for playin for so long... Ive noticed im getting more and better oranges the more i play but still sadly havent found any pearls....

The more time one person plays does raise the chances of them finding more about the games that others do not. In defense against those that have found items of rarity rather quickly and with less efforts may have some characteristics that aid the hunt. Other than that, besides chance or manipulation through cheating, hard work and dedication are the roots to conquering the Borderlands!
