Hey guys,

I just managed to get an IRC channel registered for our site at GameSurge, but I'm a newbie when it comes to operating IRC channels so I was just wondering whether either of you have any experience with managing an IRC channel ?

Same here, although if someone already knew the ins and outs of the system it would've been much easier to learn ^_^

I have a lot of IRC experience on Quakenet servers. I used to run #dodgepromod on Quakenet. However, I've never been on a GameSurge IRC channel. Some networks can be very different.

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to have an IRC channel ? I think it would help people to organize games.

Sure thing. I'll see what I can find about GameSurge.

We can use Rizon to connect to the channel, but we need one made first.

Looks kind of sparse, but I guess it'll get the job done. I've always just used mIRC.

Since we have the Shoutbox, I no longer think that an IRC is necessary.
