Hey guys,
I just managed to get an IRC channel registered for our site at GameSurge, but I'm a newbie when it comes to operating IRC channels so I was just wondering whether either of you have any experience with managing an IRC channel ?

Same here, although if someone already knew the ins and outs of the system it would've been much easier to learn

I have a lot of IRC experience on Quakenet servers. I used to run #dodgepromod on Quakenet. However, I've never been on a GameSurge IRC channel. Some networks can be very different.
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to have an IRC channel ? I think it would help people to organize games.

Sure thing. I'll see what I can find about GameSurge.

We can use Rizon to connect to the channel, but we need one made first.
Looks kind of sparse, but I guess it'll get the job done. I've always just used mIRC.
